Today, we find ourselves in the 21st Century. It is a time to seriously think about where we are, where we have been and most importantly, where are we going? Our industry, for the most part, is composed of small businesses. Our industry, while small in business size, caters to a very large consumer base.

We need to carefully look at, and evaluate that consumer base to find out where they stand on the many problems currently facing our industry. The American consumer is concerned about the following: 1.) the environment and how those resouces are used, 2.) how business, today, contribute to the community, and 3.) what our industry is doing to make the world a beter place to live.
